This gift-set design uses a dual-door magnetic rigid box, created for a well-known traditional Chinese zongzi brand. The symmetrical opening builds ceremonial tension, making it ideal for festive gifting and premium custom packaging. The structure balances rigidity and elegance, offering reliable support for culturally themed food presentations.
Surface & Visual Design
The visual focus lies in its expansive Chinese-red background, decorated with richly illustrated dragon boats and hand-drawn dragon motifs. Printed on 157gsm coated paper with full CMYK, the surface is enhanced through matte lamination, foil line detailing, selective UV, and embossing to extract fine artistic textures. A custom cast-metal logo plate sits at the center, adding luxury and tactile contrast. The coordinated gift bag extends the visual narrative for complete seasonal gifting.
Materials & Construction
The outer shell uses 2.5mm (approx. 1250gsm) high-gloss rigid board for strength and dimensional accuracy. All paper components meet FSC certified packaging boxes standards and reflect the production capability of an OEM packaging box manufacturer China. The internal tray is crafted from 350gsm food-grade white card, printed and laminated with foil accents and spot UV for decorative continuity.
Insert & Protection
The interior uses food-grade white card to form a clean, stable cavity suitable for holding zongzi packaging. The rigid board and snug layout ensure the gift remains protected during transport while maintaining an upscale food gifting aesthetic.
Unboxing Experience
Opening the magnetic double doors reveals a festive red-and-gold interior, echoing the cultural spirit of the Dragon Boat Festival. Layered foil textures, sculpted illustrations, and the metal emblem contribute to an elevated reveal associated with high-end gift packaging boxes and bespoke brand packaging solutions.
